Toss in poppy seeds for a bit of crunch—together, they create a party on your palate.
Baking this bread fills the kitchen with the comforting aroma of garlic and melted butter. As you pull apart each piece, there’s a comforting tactile satisfaction. Using a soft rubber spatula to loosen the cheese is key. This little move ensures that each piece releases cleanly, offering beautifully intact morsels. The experience of sharing this bread is as fulfilling as the dish itself. Round the table, with steaming mugs of coffee, everyone savors the morning’s simple pleasures. This pull-apart bread isn’t just an addition to the meal; it becomes a centerpiece, sparking conversation and connection.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted butter melted, plus more solid butter for greasing the pan
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 1/2 cup parmigiana cheese
  • 1/2 cup paprika
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 1/2 cup poppyseeds
  • 3 cloves garlic very finely minced
  • 2 (16-ounce 8-count) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Generously grease a 9-10-inch Bundt™ pan with the butter.
  • Place the cranberries, the cheese, the paprika, the parsley, and the poppyseeds in separate small bowls.
  • Stir the garlic into the melted butter.
  • Cut the biscuits in half and then roll each piece into a ball.
  • Dip each of the dough balls into the butter mixture. Some of the garlic should adhere to the balls as you do this.
  • Alternate what toppings the butter-coated balls are rolled into.
  • Add the coated dough balls into the pan so that the various toppings are placed in an alternated fashion.
  • Bake the bread until the surface is golden, about 30-35 minutes. Around the 25-minute mark, carefully lay a sheet of foil on top of the bread to prevent the top from browning too quickly.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
  • Run a thin, soft rubber spatula around the edge and down the sides of the pan to loosen any stuck cheese.
  • Invert the bread onto a plate, then lay a serving platter on top and flip the bread onto the serving platter.
  • Serve warm.
