- 2 cups egg noodles cooked
- 2 (10.75-ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 4 cups chicken cooked and chopped
- 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese grated, divided
- 1 (2.25-ounce) package toasted slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup pimentos drained and chopped
- 1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms drained
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- parsley to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease a 13x9-inch casserole dish.
- In a large bowl, add the cooked egg noodles, the cream of mushroom soup, the broth, and the sherry and stir to combine.
