  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese grated, divided

  • pepper to taste
  • 2 cups chicken cooked and shredded
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 4 cups egg noodles cooked (approximately 2 cups uncooked)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large, tall-sided saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
